Watching the 2026 NFL Season on TV and Streaming

The NFL TV and streaming schedule on this page shows upcoming games, kickoff times, TV channels and streaming options for viewers in the U.S.

How NFL games are shown in the U.S.

Most NFL games are played on Sunday afternoons, with CBS and FOX carrying games across local markets. The league also has regular national primetime windows throughout the week:

  • Sunday afternoon: CBS and FOX
  • Thursday Night Football: Prime Video
  • Sunday Night Football: NBC and Peacock
  • Monday Night Football: ESPN and ABC

Selected games can also appear on NFL Network, Netflix and other national platforms, including international games, holiday games and special late-season windows. The NFL also uses flexible scheduling later in the regular season, meaning some kickoff times and network assignments are not finalized until closer to the game. Check the schedule above for the channel or streaming service assigned to a specific game.

Local and out-of-market NFL games

The NFL viewing options available to you depend partly on where you live. Sunday afternoon games on CBS and FOX are distributed by market, so viewers in different parts of the country may receive different games.

NFL Sunday Ticket is designed for out-of-market Sunday afternoon regular-season games that are not being shown on local broadcasts in your area. For more information about the package, see our NFL Sunday Ticket guide.

NFL+ serves a different purpose. It includes live local and primetime regular-season and postseason games on phones and tablets, while live out-of-market preseason games are available across supported devices. Our NFL+ streaming review explains the service and its viewing options in more detail.

For individual games, always use the NFL TV and streaming schedule above to see the confirmed viewing options available.

This is the NFL

Founded in 1920, the NFL is made up of 32 teams divided between the American Football Conference (AFC) and National Football Conference (NFC). Each conference contains four divisions, East, North, South and West, with four teams in each division.

Each NFL team plays 17 regular-season games over 18 weeks. Opponents are determined through the league's scheduling formula, which includes divisional games as well as games against teams from other divisions and conferences.

NFL playoffs and Super Bowl

At the end of the regular season, seven teams from each conference qualify for the NFL playoffs. The four division winners and three wild-card teams make up each conference's seven-team field, with the No. 1 seed receiving a first-round bye.

The playoffs progress through Wild Card Weekend, the Divisional Round and the AFC and NFC Championship Games. The two conference champions then meet in the Super Bowl.

Betting on Football and the NFL

We help our visitors to compare football betting sites with a particular focus on what they offer NFL bettors. That includes the odds, range of markets and betting features, but also how useful the sportsbook actually is during a busy NFL Sunday and throughout the season.

Each week, we also take a closer look at the upcoming games and publish our NFL betting picks. We explain why we like a bet rather than just posting a prediction, whether that’s a point spread, game total or one of the many quarterback, rushing, receiving and touchdown props available.

You can also use LiveSportsOnTV to find the current Super Bowl Odds and today’s NFL odds for upcoming games where we bring the current lines together so you can check spreads, moneylines and totals and compare what different sportsbooks are offering before you place a bet.

Our NFL coverage runs throughout the season, from the opening weeks and the regular Sunday schedule all the way through the playoffs and Super Bowl.
