NFL Sunday Ticket Review: Price, Packages & How to Watch

NFL Sunday Ticket is the U.S. package for eligible out-of-market Sunday-afternoon regular-season games on CBS and FOX. If your favorite team is outside your local TV market, or you simply want more Sunday-afternoon football than your local stations show, this is the product that fills that gap. This review covers what Sunday Ticket includes, the current package prices for new and returning subscribers, how the YouTube Primetime Channel and YouTube TV add-on differ, and how Season Pass installments compare with Month-to-Month where that option is offered. Local games, national windows and the playoffs sit outside Sunday Ticket itself.

What Sunday Ticket includes (and doesn't)

Sunday Ticket covers eligible out-of-market Sunday-afternoon regular-season games in the CBS and FOX windows. If you want a Sunday-afternoon game that your local CBS or FOX station is not showing, that is the gap this package is built for.

It does not include your local Sunday-afternoon game, the national windows (Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, Thursday Night Football), digital-exclusive games or the playoffs. Packages and how to buy

In the United States, Sunday Ticket is sold two ways: as a standalone YouTube Primetime Channel, or as an add-on to YouTube TV. The add-on requires an active YouTube TV plan. The standalone channel does not, and you do not need DIRECTV.

The YouTube TV plan is a separate cost from Sunday Ticket. YouTube TV's main plan is $82.99/mo before tax. A Sports and News plan promo may appear in the Sunday Ticket bundle checkout for new YouTube TV users; that offer is separate from the Sunday Ticket Season Pass prices in the table above.

Residential use only applies. Sharing is limited to a Google family group of up to five other people in the same household. Do not assume a subscription can be shared freely outside that household.

Current prices

Prices checked Nov. 6, 2026 (before tax; availability varies). The amounts in the table above are the Season Pass prices shown on YouTube's Sunday Ticket page that day for the rest of the NFL regular season.

New subscribers pay $108, or four non-cancelable monthly payments of $27, whether they buy the YouTube TV add-on or the standalone YouTube channel. Returning subscribers pay $208 (or 4× $52/mo) with YouTube TV, or $264 (or 4× $66/mo) as a standalone purchase. YouTube still shows older struck-through list levels of $240 (new) and $378 (returning with YouTube TV) as reference; the checkout figures above are the ones offered on Nov. 6. Auto-renewal into the 2027 season is at full price.

A special student price of $119 is listed on YouTube's Sunday Ticket deals page and requires student ID verification. Partner and ID.me offers vary by program and are not general list prices, so check that deals page if one applies to you. Always confirm the exact amount and plan type at checkout before you buy.

Season Pass installments vs Month-to-Month

A Season Pass paid in monthly installments spreads the season cost, but it is a full-season commitment. You cannot cancel mid-season to stop the remaining payments. Installment eligibility varies (not available in Colorado, Maine, Utah or Wisconsin, or in U.S. territories), and the first payment is due at purchase.

A true Month-to-Month plan, where it is offered, is different. You are charged on the same billing date each month, can cancel at any time, and keep access until the next billing date. YouTube does not offer refunds. Month-to-Month plans do not automatically renew for future seasons.

Before you subscribe, read the plan shown at checkout. A price displayed per month may be a non-cancelable Season Pass installment, not Month-to-Month. Do not assume Month-to-Month is available for your account just because YouTube documents its terms.

How and where to watch

Watch Sunday Ticket in the YouTube or YouTube TV app on a supported TV, streaming device, phone or tablet, or in a supported browser, with the Google account linked to your purchase. Multiview is available where the app offers it on supported devices.

If you buy the YouTube TV add-on, you also get the local and national channels included in your YouTube TV plan, subject to your ZIP code. That combination covers more of the weekly NFL map than Sunday Ticket alone, but it does not change which Sunday-afternoon games CBS and FOX put on in your area.

RedZone and NFL+

NFL RedZone is not included in the base Sunday Ticket package. On YouTube TV you can add RedZone with Sports Plus for $10.99/month. A Sunday Ticket Season Pass that also includes RedZone may be offered as an option at checkout; there was no single public bundled dollar amount on YouTube's sales page on Nov. 6, 2026.

NFL+ is a separate product. It is not Sunday Ticket. In the United States, standard NFL+ includes live local and primetime regular-season and postseason games on a phone or tablet. NFL+ Premium adds full and condensed game replays; it is not a live out-of-market Sunday-afternoon package. Check the NFL's current plans and device list before you subscribe.

What we found

Sunday Ticket is worth it when you regularly need eligible out-of-market Sunday-afternoon games. It is not a full-NFL substitute: local games, national windows, digital exclusives and the playoffs stay elsewhere.

You do not need YouTube TV to buy it. New subscribers currently see the same $108 Season Pass on both the standalone channel and the YouTube TV add-on; returning subscribers pay more, with the standalone returning price higher than the YouTube TV add-on. Season Pass installments are a full-season commitment. Month-to-Month, where offered, is the cancel-anytime option.
