The decision to launch a betting sections on LiveSportsonTV wasn’t complicated as many of our visitors who come here to find out where to watch a game are the same people who want to bet on it.

So we tested the major US sportsbooks ourselves and made a decision early on that we would only recommend books we’d actually use ourselves.

Why Use LiveSportsOnTV for Your Betting Decisions?

With so many licensed sportsbooks competing for your business, knowing which one to choose is not always easy. Welcome offers change, odds vary from book to book and the app that suits one bettor will not suit another.

We have covered live sports for years and we bring that same focus on accuracy and independence to betting. We test every book we recommend with a real account and real money, and we explain exactly how we rate them.

Offers change, promo codes expire and new states launch, so we check all of it continuously to reflect what is actually available today.

When we test a sportsbook we sign up for a real account, try the apps, claim the welcome offers and verify every term before we publish anything. Nobody pays us to be featured or ranked higher.

Our comparisons come down to what actually affects you, the odds quality, market depth, app performance, withdrawal speed and the real value of an offer once you read the fine print

Why we cover betting

Sports are what we know. Betting is a newer part of what we do and we approached it the same way we approach everything else, carefully and on our own terms with hands-on tests.

Learn the Basics Before You Bet

Understanding how betting works is the best investment any bettor can make. Our guides cover everything from reading odds for the first time to comparing sportsbooks, claiming bonuses and building a long term strategy, written to be just as useful whether you are placing your first bet or your thousandth.

Latest sportsbook promo codes and bonuses

A welcome bonus is rarely as simple as the headline number suggests. We track the latest promo codes and verify the terms for each sportsbook, so what you see here reflects what is actually live right now. Before you sign up anywhere check the offer in your state, since some bonuses need a code entered at registration that cannot be added afterward.

Tip from the editors

The biggest welcome offer is not always the best one. A smaller bonus with a low rollover and a long expiry often returns more than a headline figure you can never realistically clear. Always check the rollover before you claim.

Find Today’s Top Odds

Lines move between books, so it pays to check more than one before you bet. The odds below update in real time across the day’s games, so you can spot the best available price before placing anything.

The habit that has saved me the most money is simple, check more than one book before you bet. Different sportsbooks post better prices on different sports and games, so shopping around for the best number is free value. New to reading the numbers? Our guide on how to read odds has you covered.

The biggest sporting event on the planet is coming to American soil this summer. With 104 games played across 11 US cities from June 11 to July 19, the 2026 World Cup is set to be the largest betting event in American history.

We cover the outright winner odds, group stage markets, Golden Boot betting, and how to read soccer odds if you are new to betting on the sport.

Betting Through the App

Most betting now happens on the app, not the desktop site, and it comes down to convenience and speed for the most part.

Your account and bet slip sit one tap away wherever you are, and that matters when lines move fast around injury news and live situations. By the time you have opened a browser, logged in and found the market, the odds you wanted may already have moved.

What makes the app better

  • Live betting that updates in real time, where most in-play bets are placed
  • Push alerts on line moves and injury news, so you can react the moment something shifts
  • Live betting that runs faster on the app, since it connects straight to the sportsbook and skips the browser lag
  • Mobile-only odds boosts and instant deposits with Apple Pay or Google Pay

I keep more than one app on my phone and so should you. It takes two taps to check a second book, and the price difference on the same bet is real money over a season. The app that earns its spot is the one that does not make you fight it when you are trying to get a bet in fast.

Sports betting laws are set state by state. Since the Supreme Court overturned the federal ban in 2018, most of the country has moved to legalize it in some form.

As of 2026 you can bet online through licensed apps in more than 30 states, with Missouri the most recent to launch in December 2025, while a handful of others offer retail betting only.

Where you are matters more than where you live. You do not need to be a resident of a state to bet there, you just need to be physically inside its borders when you place the wager. Every licensed sportsbook checks this automatically with geolocation each time you open the app.

Online betting works a little differently from state to state. Some run open markets with many competing apps, while others such as Montana and Oregon offer it through a single state-run app, and a few operate through tribal partnerships.

Wherever it is legal you can bet online from anywhere inside the state. The exceptions are Mississippi and Washington, where mobile betting is limited to licensed casino premises rather than statewide. States like California, Texas, Georgia and Florida have not legalized online betting yet, though that picture keeps changing.

Key points

  • Where you are matters more than where you live. You do not need to be a resident of a state to place legal bets there. As long as you are physically located within a state where sports betting is legal, you can sign up and bet.
  • The welcome bonus you see advertised may not be the one available in your state. Some states have specific restrictions on promotional offers, and certain books offer enhanced or alternative welcome structures in select market

We Take Responsible Gambling Seriously

We believe sports betting should be fun, and we take that seriously. Every sportsbook we feature on this site is fully licensed and required by law to offer tools that help you stay in control, including deposit limits, wagering limits, session time reminders, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion options.

We encourage every bettor, new or experienced, to set a deposit limit before placing their first bet. It takes thirty seconds and is the single most effective thing you can do to make sure betting stays enjoyable long term.

Where to get help

If betting ever stops feeling like entertainment, please reach out for help. Call or text 1-800-GAMBLER at any time, day or night. You can also visit NCPG for free, confidential support. There is no shame in asking for help, and the resources are there for exactly that reason.

This site started as a place to find live sports on TV. The betting section came later, because the same questions kept coming up, where should I sign up, which bonus is real, does this promo code actually work. We figured if we were going to answer them we should do it properly. Every sportsbook on this page has been tested with a real account, real money and real bets. We do not rank books by who pays us the most, we rank them by what they are actually like to use when it matters.
