Boston Celtics

A difficult path lies ahead for the Boston Celtics, with their superstar Jayson Tatum tearing his Achilles tendon in the 2025 playoffs, which ruled him out for just about the entirety of the ensuing campaign. Some of their vital pieces are still intact, but could Boston’s championship window be closing? Here's your complete guide to watching the Boston Celtics live on TV today and streaming every game online this season.

What Channel is the Boston Celtics Game on Tonight?

Celtics games are available through a variety of options on cable, for both in-market and out-of-market contests. For fans in the New England Area, NBC Sports Boston carries all Celtics games that are not nationally broadcast. The channel is available through providers such as DIRECTV, FuboTV, and YouTubeTV. This includes analysis from local legend Brian Scalabrine, with Drew Carter providing play-by-play coverage. For less Celtics-specific content, NBATV is another cable option.

Nationally broadcast games will be available on NBC, ABC and ESPN, so be sure to check the Boston Celtics Subpage to confirm where and when to watch them in prime time.

For fans outside of New England, keep an eye on local broadcast offerings when the Celtics play in your area, and check the NBA League Page for fully up-to-date viewing options for every game this season.

How to Stream Celtics Games Online

If you’re wondering how to stream Boston Celtics games online, you have several great options:

  • NBA League Pass or Team Pass is the ideal option for out-of-market fans. A regional blackout is in place for the entirety of New England, with the exception of western Connecticut. For Celtics fans outside of those areas, the Team Pass provides the opportunity to watch every non-nationally broadcast Celtics game.
  • Streaming is still an option for local Celtics fans as well: NBC Sports Boston is available through Peacock with live and on-demand viewing options. In that case, the Peacock Premium plan offers the most complete coverage. Furthermore, Prime Video is contracted to host a minimum of 9 Celtics games throughout the season, yet another streaming service where you can catch Mazzula’s men in action.
  • Nationally broadcast games are often available via Peacock, ESPN+ or Prime Video.

He played 14 seasons in Boston and was an All-Star in 13 of them. Cousy won six NBA titles with the Celtics and claimed the NBA MVP in 1957.
