Utah Jazz

Wondering how to catch every Utah Jazz game this season? After a tough 2024-25 campaign, fans are hoping for a bounce-back year, and with Ace Bailey arriving, the rebuild may finally have a spark.

The Jazz call the Delta Center in Salt Lake City home and compete in the NBA’s Western Conference. Following a franchise-worst 17-65 record, there’s a renewed sense of optimism in Utah. Whether you’re tracking every step of the turnaround or tuning in for big matchups, here’s your complete guide to watching the Utah Jazz live on TV today and streaming all season long.

What Channel is the Utah Jazz Game on Tonight?

Most Utah Jazz games are broadcast locally on KJZZ 14 and Jazz+, the team’s official regional media partners. These platforms provide full coverage of regular-season games, including pregame and postgame shows. KJZZ is accessible via major cable and satellite providers across Utah, such as Xfinity, DIRECTV, and Dish. Jazz+, the team’s in-house streaming platform, gives fans a digital alternative for following the action (more on that below).

For nationally televised matchups, games may air on ESPN, TNT, ABC, or NBA TV, and will also be available on most cable packages.

With so many networks involved, it’s easy to lose track of who’s playing where. That’s why it helps to check the NBA games tonight for a full, up-to-date list of channels and tip-off times.

How to Stream Jazz Games Online

If you’re wondering how to stream Utah Jazz games online, you have several great options:

  • The Utah Jazz offer one of the easiest streaming options for fans through Jazz+, the team’s specific platform that streams every locally broadcast game. Accessible via the Jazz+ app or website, this service allows fans in Utah and surrounding markets to stream games live or on-demand.
  • For out-of-market fans, NBA League Pass or Team Pass is the best way to watch every Jazz matchup not aired nationally. League Pass gets you live games and replays, but it is important to note that regional blackouts apply for fans within Utah’s designated market area.
  • Of course, the nationally broadcast games are also important for fans. For these, live TV streaming platforms like YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, and DIRECTV Stream carry ESPN, TNT, and ABC, which will cover you for any nationally broadcast games.

With these options, following the Jazz online has never been easier - no matter where you’re watching from.

Home of the Jazz

A venue was the primary issue when the franchise was in New Orleans. When the team moved to Utah, they first played in the Salt Palace. In 1991, the Jazz moved into the Vivint Smart Home Arena (formerly known as the Delta Center and the Energy Solutions Arena). They have been there ever since. Vivint Smart Home Arena holds 18,306 fans for Jazz home games.

History of the Jazz

The Jazz won their first division title in 1984, the same year they first qualified for the playoffs. The franchise has won nine division titles (1984, 1989, 1992, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2007, 2008, and 2017). The Jazz have won just two conference championships. In 1997 and 1998, Utah won the Western Conference but was beaten in the NBA Finals by the Chicago Bulls. The Jazz have made the playoffs in 29 seasons. They are still the only NBA franchise to never record a 60-loss season.

In the 1985 NBA draft, the Jazz selected Karl Malone with the 13th overall pick. “The Mailman” would go on to become one of the greatest power forwards in the history of the game. His 36,928 career points are No. 2 in NBA history and his 34,374 career points are first in Jazz history. He is also the franchise leader in rebounds with 14,601. Malone played 18 seasons in Utah and was a 14-time All-Star. He was selected to the All-NBA First Team in 11 straight seasons (1989-1999). Malone was the league MVP twice, winning the award in 1997 and 1999. A Hall of Famer, Malone was also a member of the 1992 “Dream Team,” the U.S. men’s Olympic team that won a gold medal in Barcelona. John Stockton was a first-round draft pick of the Jazz in 1984 and a long-time teammate of Malone’s. He played his entire 19-year NBA career in Utah. Stockton was also a member of the “Dream Team” and was one of the game’s great point guards. He sits atop the Jazz career leaderboard in assists with 15,806 and steals with 3,265. Stockton was a 10-time NBA All-Star and led the league in assists in nine straight seasons from 1988 to 1996. He finished his career with averages of 13.1 points and 10.5 assists per game.
