Sports Betting Promos & Bonus Codes for June 2026

The best sports betting promos can turn a small first bet into hundreds in bonus bets, from a $1,500 first-bet safety net down to a $5 wager that returns $150. Every offer here comes from a licensed US sportsbook and we re-check the terms before publishing so what you see is live today.

We’ve claimed and tested each sign-up bonus with our own accounts and our own money, so the breakdowns below show how the promos actually pay out, not how a book markets them. Use them to match a betting bonus to your state and how you bet.

Sportsbook Bonus Offers Reviewed

The best sports betting promos this month range from a $1,500 safety net on your first bet to $100 in bonus bets for a $10 wager, but not every offer is worth chasing. We’ve tested every major offer, compared the terms, and ranked them by what they’re actually worth based on how you bet.

4.5/5

BetMGM – Best Overall Sign-Up Bonus

Up to $1,500 back in Bonus Bets if first bet loses
Promo code: BETMGMBONUS
  • Up to $1,500 back in Bonus Bets if your first bet loses, making it one of the largest first-bet offers available
  • MGM Rewards program converts betting activity into points redeemable at MGM and Marriott properties nationwide
  • Official partner of the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and PGA Tour, with deep market coverage across all major American sports

BetMGM’s first-bet offer is the highest safety net available in U.S. sports betting right now. Place up to $1,500 on your opening wager and if it loses, you get the full amount back in bonus bets. If it wins, you keep the cash. There’s no minimum odds requirement, so you can put it on whatever market you want.

One thing worth knowing: if your first bet is under $50, you get one bonus bet token. Bet $50 or more and BetMGM splits the refund into five equal tokens, each worth 20% of your stake. So a $500 losing first bet comes back as five $100 bonus bets rather than one lump sum, which gives you more flexibility across different markets.

Bettors in MI, NJ, PA, and WV get a different deal, a Bet $10, Get $150 offer if your first bet wins, which has a lower ceiling but a lower bar to clear. New York runs its own version too, a first-bet refund up to $250 rather than the full $1,500.

You also get $50 in BetMGM Rewards Points regardless of whether your first bet wins or loses, which feeds into the MGM Rewards program for hotel stays, dining, and other perks.

  • Offer: Up to $1,500 in bonus bets if your first bet loses
  • Promo code: BETMGMBONUS
  • Min. deposit: $10
  • Bonus expiry: 7 days after issuance
  • Available in: AZ, CO, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MO, NC, OH, TN, VA, WY
  • Best for: High rollers and bettors who want maximum first-bet coverage

Pros

  • Highest maximum bonus value of any sportsbook right now
  • No minimum odds requirement on the qualifying bet
  • Five bonus bet tokens on stakes over $50 adds flexibility
  • $50 in Rewards Points guaranteed win or lose

Cons

  • You have to actually risk the full $1,500 to get $1,500 back
  • Not available in DC, MS, NV, NY
  • Bonus bets expire after just 7 days
4.5/5
Bet $5, Get $150 in Bonus Bets
Promo code: No code required
  • Best same-game parlay product in the US market
  • App is consistently rated among the fastest and most intuitive available
  • Withdrawals via PayPal and debit typically clear within 24 hours

FanDuel is the biggest sportsbook in the U.S. by market share, and its welcome offer reflects that confidence. There’s no promo code to remember, no complicated opt-in process. Deposit $5, place a $5 bet on anything, and if it wins you get $150 in bonus bets within 72 hours.

The catch is that your first bet has to win. That makes this a bet-and-get offer rather than a safety net, so it rewards bettors who back a solid favorite on their first wager. There are no minimum odds requirements, which means you can pick a -400 favorite and still qualify.

Where FanDuel really separates itself from the pack is ongoing value for existing users. The same-game parlay catalog is the deepest in the industry, and daily promos like NBA Happy Hour profit boosts and MLB Dinger Tuesdays give regulars consistent reasons to keep coming back.

  • Offer: Bet $5, get $150 in bonus bets if your bet wins
  • Promo code: No code required
  • Min. deposit: $5
  • Bonus expiry: 7 days after issuance
  • Available in: AZ, CO, CT, DC, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, VA, VT, WV, WY
  • Best for: Casual bettors and same-game parlay fans

Pros

  • No promo code needed, just sign up and bet
  • Lowest minimum deposit of any major sportsbook at $5
  • Largest same-game parlay catalog in the industry
  • Consistent daily promos for existing users

Cons

  • Bonus only pays out if your first bet wins
  • $150 is a lower ceiling than BetMGM or Fanatics
  • Bonus bets expire after 7 days
4.0/5

BetRivers – The Lowest-Risk Way to Start Betting

Second Chance Bet up to $500
Promo code: SPORTS
  • RushPay is the fastest withdrawal system in US sports betting, with PayPal payouts arriving in as little as 30 minutes
  • iRush Rewards earns points on every real-money wager, one of the strongest loyalty programs for sportsbook players
  • First US sportsbook to offer live streaming, still one of the broadest streaming selections available

BetRivers keeps things simple. Place any first bet, and if it loses you get the full amount back as a bonus bet, up to the maximum in your state. No odds requirement on the qualifying bet, no complicated structure. Just a straightforward second chance.

The maximum varies more than any other sportsbook on this list. Michigan and Pennsylvania get up to $500, Colorado and New Jersey cap at $250, while Arizona, Iowa, New York, Ohio, and West Virginia top out at $100. Check your state before signing up so you know what you’re working with.

Where BetRivers punches above its weight is ongoing value. The iRush Rewards loyalty program is one of the most consistent in the industry, offering daily profit boosts, prop packs, and a Bonus Store where you can spend accumulated points. For bettors who want steady long-term perks rather than a flashy one-time bonus, BetRivers delivers that better than most.

  • Offer: 2nd Chance Bet up to $500 if your first bet loses
  • Promo code: SPORTS
  • Min. deposit: $10
  • Bonus expiry: 30 days after issuance
  • Available in: AZ, CO, IL, IN, IA, LA, MD, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, VA, WV
  • Best for: New bettors who want a safety net without a large upfront commitment

Pros

  • 30-day bonus expiry is the longest of any sportsbook on this list
  • 1x playthrough requirement is the lowest in the industry
  • No odds requirement on the qualifying first bet
  • iRush Rewards is one of the stronger ongoing loyalty programs

Cons

  • Maximum bonus varies significantly by state, as low as $100 in some
  • Smaller footprint than FanDuel or BetMGM with fewer available states
  • Welcome bonus ceiling is lower than competitors in most markets
4.0/5

Caesars Sportsbook – A Smarter Way to Use Your Welcome Bonus

Bet $1, Get 10 x 100% Profit Boost Tokens
Promo code: GODYW
  • Caesars Rewards ties sportsbook wagering to 50+ properties including hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues, with real-world redemptions no competitor matches
  • 24/7 support via phone, live chat, email, and Twitter, which is more accessible than any other US sportsbook
  • NFL live streaming available in-app through a Genius Sports partnership, one of only a handful of US books to offer this

Caesars’ welcome offer works differently from every other sportsbook on this list. Instead of a safety net or a guaranteed payout, you get 10 Profit Boost Tokens after placing a single $1 qualifying bet. Each token doubles the winnings on any wager up to $25, paid out in cash rather than bonus bets.

The math is worth understanding before you claim. A 100% profit boost on a $25 bet at +200 odds turns a $50 profit into $100. On a heavy favorite at -400, that same boost only adds $6.25. The tokens are most valuable on underdogs and plus-money bets, not the chalk.

What separates Caesars long-term is the Rewards program. Every bet earns Tier Credits and Reward Credits redeemable across 50+ Caesars properties, covering hotel stays, dining, and entertainment. It’s the most tangible real-world loyalty program in U.S. sports betting.

  • Offer: Bet $1, get 10x 100% Profit Boost Tokens
  • Promo code: GODYW
  • Min. qualifying bet: $1
  • Bonus expiry: 14 days after issuance
  • Available in: AZ, CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, VA, WV, WY, DC
  • Best for: Bettors who prefer multiple smaller boosted bets over one large safety net

Pros

  • Only $1 qualifying bet needed to unlock the full bonus
  • Profit boost winnings paid in cash, not bonus bets
  • 14-day expiry gives more time than most competitors
  • Caesars Rewards is the strongest loyalty program in the industry

Cons

  • Maximum $25 stake per token limits value for high rollers
  • Tokens lose value quickly on heavy favorites
  • Tokens are not reissued if a bet is voided or pushes
4.5/5

Fanatics Sportsbook – The Long Game Pays Off Here

Up to $1,000 in FanCash
Promo code: No code required
  • FanCash rewards earn on every bet and redeem for real sports merchandise at Fanatics.com, something no other sportsbook offers
  • Fair Play policy refunds player prop bets when a player exits early with injury, covering all major sports including the entire first half of NBA games
  • Multiple welcome offers by state, giving new users a choice rather than a single fixed promotion

Fanatics structures its welcome offer differently from everyone else on this list. Instead of one large bonus on day one, you get up to $100 in FanCash back on a qualifying bet each day for your first 10 days. Place a bet of at least $1 at odds of -500 or longer, and whether it wins or loses, you get your stake back in FanCash up to $100. Do that every day and you’ve unlocked up to $1,000 total.

FanCash is Fanatics’ own loyalty currency and it’s what makes this offer genuinely different. You can redeem it for bonus bets on the sportsbook, but also for merchandise across Fanatics’ entire retail network including jerseys, hats, and gear. If you’re already a Fanatics shopper, that adds real value that no other sportsbook can match.

The catch is commitment. You have to opt in each day through your bet slip, not just the promos page, and you have to remember to keep logging in for 10 consecutive days. For bettors who want a one-and-done bonus, this isn’t it.

  • Offer: 10 x $100 Bet Match in FanCash
  • Promo code: No code required
  • Min. deposit: $10
  • Min. qualifying bet: $1 per day at odds -500 or longer
  • Bonus expiry: 7 days per FanCash issuance
  • Available in: AZ, CO, CT, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, VA, VT, WV, WY
  • Best for: Bettors who plan to stick with one sportsbook long-term

Pros

  • Up to $1,000 total across 10 days, among the highest ceilings available
  • FanCash redeemable for merchandise, not just bonus bets
  • No minimum odds on qualifying bets beyond -500
  • No promo code needed

Cons

  • Requires daily opt-in through the bet slip for 10 days straight
  • FanCash is not withdrawable as cash
  • Less immediate value than a single large first-bet safety net

Best Promos for Existing Users

Sign-up bonuses are a one-time deal. What keeps bettors with a sportsbook long-term is the quality of ongoing promos, and that’s where the books differ more than most people realize. Check your Promos tab daily, especially during playoffs when offers get significantly more generous.

Sports betting promos by state

Most live states get the standard offers listed above. A few run something different, and three of the biggest states sit outside legal online betting entirely. Here is where it changes.

StateHow the promos change here
New YorkBetMGM drops to a $250 first-bet offer instead of $1,500, BetRivers caps at $100, and Fanatics runs a New York-only offer. FanDuel’s $150 and Caesars’ Bet $1 boosts are unchanged.
Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West VirginiaBetMGM switches to Bet $10, Get $150 if your first bet wins. BetRivers ranges from $250 to $500 depending on the state. The rest run their standard offers.
OhioFanatics swaps its FanCash match for Bet $100, Get $400 in bonus bets, and BetRivers caps at $100. BetMGM, FanDuel, and Caesars are standard.
MissouriThe newest market, live since December 2025. All five books now run their standard offers.
FloridaHard Rock Bet only, under the Seminole compact. None of the five books above operate here.
Texas, CaliforniaNo legal online sports betting, so no licensed promo is available.

Every other live market, including Tennessee, Illinois, North Carolina, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Colorado, Arizona, Indiana, Iowa, Virginia, Kentucky, and Kansas, gets the standard welcome offers covered above.

What Are Sportsbook Promos Actually Worth?

A $1,500 offer and a $150 offer sound worlds apart, but after years of testing these promotions firsthand, I can tell you they often work completely differently in practice. Learning to read past that headline figure is honestly one of the most valuable skills I’ve picked up. Beneath I’ll do my best to explain when a promo is worth claiming and when its more dobtfl

Bonus bets are not cash

This is an important thing to understand before claiming any sportsbook promo. When you win a bet placed with a bonus bet, you only receive the profit, not the stake. A $100 bonus bet at +100 odds pays out $100, not $200. The same $100 in cash at +100 odds pays out $200.

Bet typeStakeOddsTotal payoutStake returned?
Cash bet$100+100$200Yes
Bonus bet$100+100$100No
Cash bet$100+200$300Yes
Bonus bet$100+200$200No

Profit boosts are different

Caesars’ profit boost tokens work differently from bonus bets. The boost is applied to your winnings and paid out in cash. A $25 bet at +200 odds normally wins $50. With a 100% profit boost, that becomes $100, all in withdrawable cash.

First bet insurance is only valuable if you use it

BetMGM’s $1,500 safety net is only worth $1,500 if you actually bet $1,500. If you deposit $50 and bet $50, your insurance is worth $50. The maximum is a ceiling, not a guaranteed amount.

Why 1x playthrough matters

This is the rule that makes sportsbook bonuses worth claiming at all. Because bonus bets clear at 1x, you bet them once and the winnings are yours, with no grinding through a balance ten times over. It’s the quiet reason a smaller sportsbook bonus often beats a flashy casino one.

How to Claim a Sportsbook Promo

Most sports betting promos take less than five minutes to claim. Here’s how the process works from start to finish.

  1. 1

    Pick your offer

Compare the available bonuses based on how much you want to bet and what type of offer suits you. A first-time bettor staking $20 gets more value from BetRivers’ second chance bet than from BetMGM’s $1,500 insurance.
  2. 2

    Register your account

Click through to your chosen sportsbook and complete the sign-up form. You’ll need a valid email address, your date of birth, the last four digits of your Social Security Number, and your physical address. Some operators also ask for a photo ID during verification.
  3. 3

    Enter the promo code

If your chosen sportsbook requires a code, enter it during registration, not after. Codes entered after sign-up typically don’t activate the bonus. Caesars requires GODYW and BetMGM requires BETMGMBONUS. FanDuel apply the bonus automatically with no code needed.
  4. 4

    Make your first deposit

Most sportsbooks require a minimum of $10 to qualify for the welcome offer. FanDuel accepts as little as $5. Accepted payment methods typically include debit card, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, and online banking.
  5. 5

    Place your qualifying bet

Bet the required minimum on any eligible market. Check the terms for any odds restrictions before placing, since some offers require minimum odds of -500 or longer. Avoid using the Cash Out feature on your qualifying bet as this voids the bonus at most sportsbooks.
  6. 6

    Collect your bonus

Bonus bets are usually credited within 72 hours of your qualifying bet settling. Check your account balance under the Bonus Bets section of the app. Most expire within 7 days so use them promptly.

Types of Sportsbook Promos Explained

Sportsbooks use a handful of standard bonus structures, but each one works differently and suits different betting styles. Knowing which type you’re claiming before you sign up saves a lot of confusion later.

Bet and Get

You place a small qualifying bet, typically $5 or $10, and receive a set amount of bonus bets whether it wins or loses.

First Bet Insurance

Your first wager is covered up to a specified maximum. Lose it and you get the full amount back in bonus bets. Win it and you keep the cash. BetMGM’s $1,500 offer is the biggest version of this in the industry right now. The key detail: you have to actually risk the maximum to get the maximum back.

Deposit Match

The sportsbook matches a percentage of your deposit in bonus bets. A 100% match on a $100 deposit adds $100 in bonus bets on top. Less common as a welcome offer among major U.S. operators right now, but shows up regularly as a reload bonus for existing users.

Odds Boosts

The sportsbook increases the odds on a specific market. A team normally priced at -300 might be listed at -200 with a boost applied. The difference is real money if your bet wins, though most boosts come with a maximum stake to cap the payout.

Profit Boosts

Applied to your winnings rather than the odds. A 50% profit boost on a $100 bet at +100 turns a $100 profit into $150, paid in cash. Caesars lean on this structure heavily for both new and existing users.

Reload Bonuses

Deposit matches for existing customers. Typically a lower match rate than welcome offers, around 10-25%, but available more than once. BetMGM occasionally runs 25% deposit matches with a 1x playthrough requirement, which is one of the better reload structures around.

Referral Bonuses

Share your unique referral link with a friend. Once they sign up, deposit, and place a qualifying bet, both of you get bonus bets. FanDuel pays $100 per successful referral, up to five per month.

My favourite typ of betting bonus

Dan Anderson

Dan Anderson

Senior Sports Betting Analyst
I’ve claimed enough first bet insurance offers to know that staking $1,500 to unlock $1,500 back in bonus bets never feels as clean as the landing page makes it look. There’s always a catch buried somewhere, and you’re always risking more than you planned.

That’s why I prefer Bet and Get bonuses where I can deposit say $5, get my bonus and move on.

Sportsbook Terms and Conditions You Need to Know

Most bettors skip the T&Cs and regret it later. These are the terms that actually matter and what they mean in practice.

Playthrough/Rollover Requirement

Also called a wagering requirement, this is the number of times you have to bet through a bonus before the winnings become withdrawable cash, shown as a multiplier. A 1x requirement on a $100 bonus means $100 in wagers, while a 10x means $1,000 before you can withdraw.

Almost every sportsbook sets bonus bets at 1x, the lowest there is, so whatever you win is yours after a single play-through. The steep multipliers live on the casino side, where 10x to 20x is common, so never assume a casino bonus follows the same rules.

Dan Anderson

Dan Anderson

Senior Sports Betting Analyst
Playthrough requirements are where I’ve seen more people get caught out than almost anywhere else in sports betting. Not because the rules are hidden exactly, but because nobody reads them until they’re trying to withdraw and suddenly can’t.

However, almost every major US book runs 1x on bonus bets where you wager it once, you win, and the money is yours. In my experience, the casino side is a completely different story. 10x, 15x, 20x rollover requirements on casino bonuses are standard, and at those multipliers the house edge built into the games makes clearing them very difficult.

Minimum Odds

Some offers require your qualifying bet to be placed at odds of -500 or longer. That rules out extreme favorites but still leaves plenty of markets open. Caesars requires minimum odds of -10,000 on the qualifying $1 bet, which is essentially any bet at all.

Bonus Expiry

Most bonus bets expire 7 days after being credited. Caesars gives you 14 days and BetRivers gives you 30. If you don’t use them before the deadline they disappear from your account with no warning.

Cash Out

Using the early cash out feature on your qualifying bet almost always voids the bonus. Let the bet settle naturally regardless of how the game is going.

Market Restrictions

Some bonuses can’t be used on certain markets. Futures bets are commonly excluded from qualifying wagers since they can take months to settle, which would push past the offer’s expiry window.

Physical Location Requirements

You need to be physically present in a state where the sportsbook operates when you place your bet, not just a resident there. Traveling out of state on the day you want to claim your bonus will lock you out until you’re back.

Not Maximizing Value

There’s no reason to bet $100 if a $5 qualifying bet unlocks the same bonus. FanDuel gives you $150 in bonus bets for a $5 wager. Betting more doesn’t increase what you receive, it just increases your risk.

Voided and Pushed Bets

If your qualifying bet is voided or graded a push, most sportsbooks will not credit the bonus. This applies to Caesars’ profit boost tokens specifically, which are not reissued under any circumstances if a bet pushes or is voided.

Ineligible States

Every operator has a different footprint. BetMGM isn’t available in NY for its $1,500 offer, BetRivers tops out at $100 in several states. Always check your state before signing up.

How We Rate Sportsbook Promos

Every bonus on this page has been evaluated against the same criteria. Here’s exactly what we look at and why each factor matters.

Maximum bonus value

The ceiling matters, but only in context. A $1,500 offer is only worth $1,500 if you’re willing to stake that much. We factor in both the maximum and the realistic value for an average bettor.

Minimum deposit and wager

Lower barriers mean more bettors can access the full offer. A $5 minimum is more accessible than a $50 one, and we weight that accordingly.

Odds restrictions

Offers that restrict you to specific markets or minimum odds are less flexible. We favor bonuses that give you the full betting menu to work with. If you’re still learning how to read odds, the key is that a winning bonus bet pays the profit only, not the stake.

Bonus type

First bet insurance, bet and get, and profit boosts all work differently. We evaluate each type on its own merits rather than assuming one is inherently better than another.

Playthrough requirements

1x is the industry standard and what we expect from betting bonuses. Any offer requiring more than 1x before withdrawal is flagged as restrictive, depending

Expiry window

Seven days is standard. We give extra credit to offers like BetRivers’ 30-day window that give bettors more time to use their bonus strategically.

Ongoing value

A welcome bonus is one bet. The loyalty programs, daily promos, and existing user offers are what keep a sportsbook worth using month after month. We factor that into the overall picture.

Claiming promos responsibly

Treat the qualifying wager as money you can afford to lose, and don’t deposit extra just to reach a higher bonus tier, since the maximum is a ceiling and not a target. Setting a budget before you claim, the core of good bankroll management, matters more than any welcome number.

Sports Betting Promos FAQ

Dan Anderson

What I actually do with these offers

Dan Anderson

Senior Sports Betting Analyst

If you take one thing from this page, make it this. A bonus bet is not cash. The mistake I made for years was sticking mine on a short favorite to feel safe, but you don’t get the stake back on a bonus bet, so a -400 winner hands you almost nothing. These days mine go on longer odds where the payout is actually worth the one shot you get, and my real money stays on the bets I’m most confident in.

The other thing I’ve learned is to stop chasing the biggest welcome number. A $1,500 safety net only helps if you’re ready to risk $1,500 and most months I’m not. The sportsbook I stay with is the one still feeding me boosts and rewards long after the bonus is spent, because that’s the value that adds up.
