Los Angeles Angels Schedule
Los Angeles Angels
Established in 1961, the Los Angeles Angels are one of the younger MLB franchises, operating in the American League West Division, and playing their games in Angel Stadium. Whether you are trying to catch the Los Angeles Angels live on TV today or looking ahead to future clashes, this is the guide for you.
What Channel is the Angels Game on Tonight?
The Los Angeles Angels are one of the many teams covered by the newly formed FanDuel Sports Network, on FanDuel Sports Network West. In addition to Angels games, the network also broadcasts Los Angeles Kings NHL matches, alongside plenty of collegiate action. The only Angels games not to feature on the FanDuel Sports Network West will be those games that are broadcast nationally, which will be shown on any of the following channels:
- ESPN: Select nationally broadcast MLB games and Sunday Night Baseball.
- TBS: Tuesday Night MLB games throughout the regular season.
- FOX: 20 Saturday late afternoon or evening games, and four Thursday night games.
- MLB Network: 26 MLB Network Showcase games - blackout restrictions apply for in-market fans.
How to Stream Angels Games Online
If you are an enthusiastic sports fan in the Los Angeles region, subscribing directly to FandDuel Sports Network West is a no-brainer, giving you access to plenty of local sports, all on one channel.
To get the games broadcast nationally, though, you will need to upgrade your TV package. To make your decision-making as easy as possible, we would recommend either Fubo or DirectTV Stream. Not only do these include the national broadcasting channels you need to catch all of those higher-profile games, but these are the only two streaming packages that include FanDuel Sports Network West in their extensive channel portfolio. If you ever need to know how to watch the Los Angeles Angels game tonight, you can find up-to-date broadcast information and timings on our MLB page.
If it is the full schedule of MLB games you are after, look no further than MLB.TV, which provides fans access to every single out-of-market game. If you are trying to watch an in-market clash, then you will be hit by the dreaded blackout restrictions, but full replays will be uploaded shortly after the game finishes.
Other Streaming Options
If you want to keep things a bit cheaper, while still getting access to a mix of other sports and entertainment, then you can look at monthly subscriptions to any of the following streaming services. Home of the Angels
The Angels play in the fourth-oldest active MLB stadium, Angel Stadium. It opened in 1966 and was known then as Anaheim Stadium. The Angels spent their first four seasons playing in Dodger Stadium while Angel Stadium was being built. It is the second-oldest stadium in the American League behind Fenway Park. Angel Stadium seats 45,517 spectators.
History of the Angels
Even in their relatively short MLB history, the Angels can lay claim to nine AL West Division titles: 1979, 1982, 1986, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2014. The Angels also made the postseason in 2002 as an MLB wild card. It was that season that the Angels captured their first and only American League pennant as well as their only World Series championship.
The only player in the Baseball of Hall of Fame wearing the cap of the Angels is former OF and designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero. He played six seasons (2004 to 2009) in Los Angeles and was an All-Star selection in each of the first four of those seasons. In 2004, Guerrero hit .337, hit 39 home runs, and knocked in 126 runs. He earned the AL MVP award that season. He ended his 16-year MLB career with 449 home runs and a .318 batting average. Guerrero was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018.
Nolan Ryan was one of the greatest pitchers of the modern era. He spent eight of his 26 MLB seasons with the Angels where he was a five-time All-Star. Ryan led the majors in strikeouts 11 times. Seven of those seasons were when he was with the Angels. Ryan continues to be MLB’s all-time leader in career strikeouts with 5,714.
The Angels drafted Mike Trout in 2011 and, eventually, he will become one of the greats of all-time. In his nine MLB seasons thus far, Trout is an eight-time All-Star. He won the AL Rookie of the Year in 2012 and has won three AL MVPs already. In his first five full MLB seasons, Trout either won the AL MVP or was the runner-up. He is the youngest player in MLB history to reach 100 home runs and 100 stolen bases, doing so in the 2015 season when he was just 23 years old.
