How to watch Sunday Night Football on TV and streaming

Sunday Night Football airs on NBC and streams on Peacock. With reception of your local NBC station, an antenna gets you the NBC broadcasts. Peacock also carries the package's separate streaming-exclusive Saturday game.

This week's matchup and kickoff are on our NFL TV & streaming schedule.

This season

• Sunday night games: one each Sunday from Week 1 to Week 18. The final matchup is selected after Week 17.
• More NBC games: the season opener (a Wednesday) and Thanksgiving night.
• Week 17 Saturday, Jan. 2, 2027: a 4:30 p.m. ET game on NBC and Peacock, followed by a primetime game exclusive nationally to Peacock.
• Week 18: the NFL puts one game on Sunday night and sets the networks for Week 18 after Week 17.
• Playoffs: NBC and Peacock carry postseason games.

Peacock's extra Saturday-night game

The primetime game on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2027 is exclusive nationally to Peacock. NBC stations in the two teams' cities will broadcast it too. Outside those markets, watching that game on a TV requires Peacock.

Streaming Sunday Night Football

If you don't have an antenna or cable, you can stream through Peacock or a live TV package that carries your local NBC station. If NBC is already included in your TV package, check whether your provider login gives you access through the NBC Sports app or NBCSports.com before adding another subscription.

Peacock streams every NBC NFL game, including the playoffs. Live sports require Peacock Premium ($12.99 a month) or Premium Plus ($19.99 a month). Peacock's cheapest plan, Select, does not include live sports.

Live TV streaming services such as Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV offer NBC in eligible local markets. Check the channel lineup for your ZIP code and chosen plan. A package carrying NBC does not automatically include the separate Peacock-exclusive game.

On a phone or tablet, NFL+ ($6.99 a month) includes live local and primetime regular-season and postseason games. It does not make those live games available on a TV.

In Spanish, Telemundo Deportes presents every game on Telemundo or Universo.

How flex picks Sunday's game

The NFL can flex Sunday Night Football up to twice between Weeks 5 and 10, and in any week from Week 11 to Week 17. A Sunday afternoon game can move to Sunday night, with the original night game moving to the afternoon. The NFL generally announces the change at least 12 days ahead in Weeks 5–13, or six days ahead in Weeks 14–17. Our schedule shows the current Sunday night matchup.

Sunday-night games generally kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET (5:20 p.m. PT), after Football Night in America on NBC.

Sunday Night Football and NFL Sunday Ticket

Sunday Ticket carries out-of-market Sunday afternoon games. Sunday Night Football on NBC is excluded, so you don't need Sunday Ticket for it, and Sunday Ticket won't get you it.

What we found

Comparing the three primetime windows, with Peacock and NFL+ prices checked Nov. 5, 2026 (before applicable taxes):

• NBC games can be watched with an antenna where a local signal is available. The separate Peacock-exclusive Saturday game is not on NBC nationwide.
• Peacock Premium is a standalone option for watching on a TV: $12.99 a month, without a live TV bundle. If NBC is already in your TV package, you may not need another subscription for games also shown on NBC.
• NFL+ is the lower-priced mobile option: $6.99 a month for live local and primetime regular-season and postseason games on phones and tablets. If you already have Peacock, its app also streams Sunday Night Football, so you do not need both solely for the same game.
