Michigan visits Ohio State on Saturday, Nov. 28, at noon ET. The game is on FOX in its Big Noon Saturday window, and FOX's pregame show, Big Noon Kickoff, starts at 9 a.m. ET.

If you have an antenna and a local FOX station, you can watch for free. Without cable, stream it on FOX One or a live TV service that carries your local FOX station. You can also sign in to the FOX Sports app with a TV provider login.

Searching for the game on Peacock? It isn't there. In 2026 The Game is a FOX broadcast, so you won't need a Peacock subscription for it.

Auburn visits Alabama on Saturday, Nov. 28. The time and channel are TBA. The SEC has put the game in a flex window: either 3:30–4:30 p.m. ET or 6–8 p.m. ET (2:30–3:30 or 5–7 p.m. CT). The conference sets the final time and network no later than six days before the game.

Once the network is picked, the game shows up on the Alabama football TV schedule and on Auburn football on TV. We'll update this guide when the SEC announces it.

The day after Thanksgiving is the busiest TV day of the week, with six rivalry games from noon to late night ET:

Thanksgiving week opens on Thursday night with TCU at Texas Tech at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. The NFL also plays on Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday. Our guide to watching the NFL on Thanksgiving covers those games.

More Saturday rivalries

Beyond The Game and the Iron Bowl, Saturday is full of rivalries. The times and channels below are still TBA. The conferences pick them in November, often less than two weeks out:

  • SEC: Georgia Tech at Georgia (flex window 3:30–4:30 p.m. or 6–8 p.m. ET), LSU at Arkansas, Louisville at Kentucky, Oklahoma at Missouri, Tennessee at Vanderbilt and South Carolina at Clemson.
  • Big Ten: Washington at Oregon, Purdue at Indiana, USC at UCLA at the Rose Bowl, Penn State at Maryland, Michigan State at Rutgers and Illinois at Northwestern.
  • ACC: Virginia at Virginia Tech, NC State at North Carolina, Boston College at Miami and Notre Dame at Syracuse.

How to stream Rivalry Week without cable

Rivalry Week is spread across five networks, so no single app has every game. Pick by the games you care about most:

  • FOX games (The Game, West Virginia at Utah): FOX One, $19.99 a month. Fubo and other live TV services with your local FOX station also carry them.
  • ABC and ESPN games (Egg Bowl, Florida at Florida State, Texas at Texas A&M, TCU at Texas Tech): the ESPN app with ESPN Unlimited, $31.99 a month or $319.99 a year. Unlimited includes ESPN on ABC.
  • CBS game (Nebraska at Iowa): Paramount+. Premium, $13.99 a month, includes your live local CBS station.
  • NBC game (Minnesota at Wisconsin): Peacock Premium, $12.99 a month.

Prices are as listed on each service's own site in late October 2026 and can change. Most of these services have monthly plans you can cancel after the holiday weekend.

To get every game in one place, a live TV streaming service such as YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV or Fubo is the closest option, as long as it carries your local ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC stations. Check the lineup for your ZIP code before you sign up. With an antenna, the ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC games are free.

  • Iron Bowl: Alabama and Auburn first played in 1893. The name comes from Birmingham's iron and steel industry, where the game was played for decades.
  • Egg Bowl: Mississippi State and Ole Miss have played for the Golden Egg since 1927.
  • Paul Bunyan's Axe: Minnesota and Wisconsin first met in 1890 and have played for the Axe since 1948, making this one of the most-played rivalries in major college football.
  • Texas vs. Texas A&M: The series began in 1894. After a break from 2012 to 2023, the game returned in 2024 and is now an SEC game played on Thanksgiving weekend.
  • Old Oaken Bucket: Purdue and Indiana have played for the Bucket since 1925. Each winner adds a link, an I or a P, to the bucket's chain.

Why is it called Rivalry Week?

Rivalry Week is the last full weekend of the regular season, Thanksgiving weekend. Many conferences schedule their oldest rivalries there, so a season's worth of history and often a conference title spot are decided in the same few days.

Not every rivalry is on Thanksgiving weekend. This season the Apple Cup between Washington and Washington State was played in September. For how each conference's TV deals work during the rest of the season, see our college football TV rights guide.
