How to Watch the NFL Thanksgiving Games on TV and Streaming
Turkey in the oven, family on the couch and football from lunchtime until late at night. The Lions have hosted on Thanksgiving since 1934 and the Cowboys since 1966, and this season it ends with Mahomes' Chiefs at Allen's Bills. With the Thanksgiving Eve game on Netflix and Black Friday on Prime Video, that's five games in three days.
All three Thursday games are on CBS, FOX and NBC, so one antenna covers the whole day, and the FOX game is free on Tubi. Here's every way to watch.

Watching with an antenna
On Thanksgiving Day, all three games air on broadcast networks. With an antenna and local CBS, FOX and NBC signals, you can watch the whole tripleheader. Reception depends on where you live.
The Thanksgiving Eve and Black Friday games are streaming games. Nationally they need Netflix and Prime Video. In the two teams' home markets, the NFL also puts them on local over-the-air TV. If you live in one of those markets, check local listings to find which station carries the game.
Streaming the Thanksgiving games without cable
Without an antenna, Thanksgiving Day takes three services, because each network streams its game on its own platform. If you only care about one game, you only need that network's service. Each Thursday game streams on the network's own service:
- CBS game: Paramount+. All plans include NFL on CBS live. The Essential plan ($8.99 a month) uses a separate NFL feed instead of your full local CBS station, and Premium ($13.99) adds the live local station.
- FOX game: FOX One ($19.99 a month), or the FOX Sports app with a TV provider login. FOX is also streaming this game live on Tubi, its ad-supported streaming service. You don't need a subscription, but you do need a Tubi account and must be signed in. The Tubi stream is available in the U.S. only, in English, and in 4K on supported devices, including major streaming players, smart TVs, phones, game consoles and web browsers. Tubi's help page has the full list. Tubi has only the FOX game, not the other Thanksgiving games.
- NBC game: Peacock Premium ($12.99 a month).
- Thanksgiving Eve: Netflix. The game is included in every Netflix plan. The cheapest plan, Standard with ads, is $8.99 a month.
- Black Friday: Prime Video, with Amazon Prime ($14.99 a month) or standalone Prime Video ($8.99 a month).
Live TV streaming services that include your local CBS, FOX and NBC stations also cover the three Thursday games. Check the lineup for your ZIP code. These services do not include the Netflix or Prime Video games.
The Thanksgiving Eve and Black Friday games
Thanksgiving Eve is a Netflix game on Wednesday night. This season's game, Packers at Rams, is the first NFL game ever played on Thanksgiving Eve. See every NFL game on Netflix this season.
Black Friday is Prime Video's afternoon game the day after Thanksgiving. Prime Video has streamed a Black Friday game every season since the first one in 2023. This season it is Broncos at Steelers. It is not part of the regular Thursday Night Football slot. The Thanksgiving night game is on NBC, not Prime Video.
What time do the Thanksgiving games start?
This season the Thursday tripleheader kicks off at 1 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. ET. Thanksgiving Eve is at 8 p.m. ET and Black Friday at 3 p.m. ET.
Why the Lions and Cowboys play on Thanksgiving
The Detroit Lions started their Thanksgiving tradition in their first season in Detroit, 1934, against the Chicago Bears. Except for 1939 to 1944, they have played on the holiday every year since.
The Dallas Cowboys joined in 1966. They have hosted a Thanksgiving game every year since, except 1975 and 1977. In those two years, the St. Louis Cardinals hosted instead.
The night game is not tied to a host team. This season the Bills host the Chiefs.
What we found: the simplest ways to watch it all
These conclusions are based on the verified prices and schedule above (checked Oct. 22, 2026).
- An antenna is the most complete single option for Thursday. It covers all three Thanksgiving Day games without a subscription.
- Streaming only, Thursday costs $21.98 for one month at today's prices: Paramount+ Essential ($8.99) and Peacock Premium ($12.99), plus the FOX game on Tubi, which needs only a Tubi account. With FOX One instead of Tubi, it would be $41.97.
- The whole five-game week costs $39.96 if you also add Netflix with ads ($8.99) and standalone Prime Video ($8.99). People who already have Netflix or Prime pay less.
- A live TV service is not enough on its own. It covers the Thursday networks but not the Netflix and Prime Video games.
- On a phone, NFL+ costs the least. At $6.99 a month it lists all five games, but only on phones and tablets.
