How to use the Champions League TV schedule
The schedule is organized by date and shows the next available Champions League broadcasts. Each listing includes the teams playing, kickoff time and the channels or streaming services carrying the game in the U.S.
This is especially useful on Champions League matchdays, when several games can kick off at the same time and different viewing options may be available for individual games. Check the listings before kickoff for the latest broadcast information.
How does the Champions League work?
The Champions League starts with a 36-team league phase. Each club plays eight games against eight different opponents, with four at home and four away.
The top eight teams in the league table advance directly to the round of 16. Teams finishing from ninth through 24th enter the knockout phase playoffs, while the remaining teams are eliminated. From the round of 16 onward, the tournament follows a knockout format on the way to the Champions League final.
The 2026/27 league phase runs from September 8, 2026 through January 27, 2027, followed by the knockout rounds and the final in Madrid on June 5, 2027.
