Premier League 2022/23 Season
The Premier League season is kicking off on August 8th after a two month long summer break. 20 teams, among them some of the biggest teams in the world, will compete in what is regarded as the most challenging soccer league of all. Manchester City enter the 2022/23 season as current champions after having clinched the title last season just ahead of Liverpool. It is Manchester City and Liverpool who’s believed to be the title contenders even this year and with a number of exciting recruitments in both teams, we can expect a thrilling battle for the 2022/23 year’s league title.
Behind the two favored top teams things are considerably trickier when it comes to predicting an outcome. With up to 5-7 teams within the reach of a top 4 position in the table, it will not come as a surprise if this fight lives into the final round of the season. Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham are all among the teams chasing Manchester City and Liverpool in the top. The clear goal and ambition, if not winning the league, with the upcoming season is to get into the top 4 and by doing so reach the UEFA Champions League next season.
UEFA Champions League TV- & Streaming Schedule
Moving further down the table we find this season’s newly promoted teams from the English second division, The Championship. Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Fulham are coming up while Burnley, Watford and Norwich went the opposite way as they got relegated. For the ones who have been following the Premier League in the last years, Bournemouth and Fulham are two recognized Premier League teams who have been in the top division not too many seasons ago. Nottingham Forest is a somewhat more new and unknown face at this stage and the club is making its first Premier League presence since 1998/99.
