The 2026 NFL season is here, and once again, Netflix will have its role in bringing action from the gridiron into your living room. The streaming giant will stream a handful of games, having extended its deal with the NFL through the 2029-30 season. The Week 18 matchup has yet to be confirmed, but the game will be played at 1:00pm ET on Saturday, January 9, 2027. The matchup will be announced following Week 17, so keep an eye on our NFL schedule for the latest details.

Watching NFL games on Netflix couldn’t be easier. If you already have an active Netflix subscription, you can stream all five games live without purchasing an additional sports package or add-on.
The games are included with all Netflix plans. Simply open Netflix on a supported device and select the live game from the home page or search for it in the app.
Can you watch Netflix NFL games without Netflix?
Yes, although the alternatives are limited.
Netflix’s NFL games will also be available on local over-the-air television in the participating teams’ home markets, with the specific local stations announced closer to each game.

Will Netflix show NFL games every week?
No. Netflix will not show live NFL games every week. Its 2026 package consists of five regular-season games, as well as NFL Honors during Super Bowl week.
Does Netflix include NFL Sunday Ticket or playoff games?
No. Netflix is not a complete NFL viewing package. Its 2026 live-game rights are limited to the five regular-season games listed above.

What is the future of the NFL on Netflix?
Netflix and the NFL have extended their partnership through the 2029-30 season.
Under the new agreement, Netflix is set to stream a Week 1 game, a Thanksgiving Eve game, one Christmas Day game and a Week 18 regular-season game each season, as well as NFL Honors.
