Los Angeles FC vs Los Angeles Galaxy, Sunday

Banc of California Stadium

Two teams in different parts of the table face each other on Sunday as fourth placed Los Angeles FC takes on Los Angeles Galaxy in an interesting derby game. The Galaxy managed to grab a long-awaited win last Monday after being on a six-games long losing streak. Currently sitting last in the Western Conference, Los Angeles Galaxy will find it extremely tough to reach this season’s playoffs.

For Los Angeles FC a win over the local rivals would put them in a very good position to reach the playoffs. Fourth placed Los Angeles FC has proved to be a strong home team this season, losing only 2 out of 11 games. Even more remarkable is that they’ve managed to score 34 goals in the 11 games being played at Banc of California. Los Angeles FC are clear favourites going into Sunday’s game, but have to be prepared for a tough derby game where anything can happen.
