When the pre-season starts

The 2023/24 Premier League season starts on August 11, but before that you can follow the teams at their respective pre-season camps. The pre-season for the Premier League teams usually starts a couple of weeks before the start of the league and this year the first training matches are played around mid-July. The number of pre-season matches differs somewhat between the teams, but as a rule, the big clubs usually play up to 10 training matches before it is time to go out for the first league match of the season.
