NFL Conference Championship AFC & NFC - Picks and Broadcast Info

The divisional round had everything one could wish for with four intense matchups. All four games were decided on either the last kick of the game or in overtime. The Bengals did what everyone thought was impossible when they beat a  Titans side coming of the bye. The 49ers put an end to the Packers season by holding them off in a tight game on Saturday night. And if Saturday had us all on the edge of our seats, it was just a taste of what was to come on Sunday when both the Rams and the Chiefs stood for remarkable performances to overcome their divisional round opponents as we now have our four Conference Championship contenders ready for a last push before the Super Bowl LVI.

It is safe to say that the divisional round surprised us with a few upsets as three of the predicted favorites to win the Super Bowl got knocked out – Packers, Bills and Buccaneers. The Kansas City Chiefs are held as favorites to lift the Super Bowl trophy, +120, followed by the Rams who came through the divisional round by the narrowest of margins

A last-minute field goal by rookie kicker Evan McPherson had the Bengals seal through the divisional round against a hard-fought Titans side. The Bengals are now two games away from the franchise’s first ever Super Bowl trophy and after been watching them last weekend there is no reason to doubt them. The Bengals chances in this game will be down to how well they can defend against the Chiefs offensive line. Considering that the Bengals only allowed the Titans and the Raiders to score a total of 35 points in the playoffs, it is obvious where the main strength of this Bengals side is. We should expect a low scoring game here as the Chiefs are going to try and break down a rock-solid defensive line. The Bengals are only one game away from their first Super Bowl since 1988. We believe their defensive record in the playoffs can take them past the AFC Championship game on Sunday and seal a victory over the Chiefs.

Our Pick: Bengals +275 Money line

The Rams go into Sunday’s game knowing that they haven’t managed to defeat the 49ers in any of the two previous meetings this season. However, this is the Playoffs and with only one game left before the Super Bowl it would be wrong to make too much out of previous meetings. The Rams totally scooped the Buccaneers on Saturday night, for about two quarters. Then nerves happened and the Buccaneers were seconds away from turning the whole game around and come back from a 27-3 loss. Thanks to a list minute field goal the Rams managed to hold off and are now big favorites as they go up against the 49ers in the NFC Championship game. The 49ers ended the Packers Super Bowl dreams as they defended themselves to an impressive divisional round victory, 10-13. The Rams in the NFC Championship game will be another massive test for the 49ers who will once again have to rely on a dominant defense in order to reach the franchise’s eight Super Bowl.
After last weekends divisional round we believe that the Rams have a good chance of going all the way. Their performance in the first half of the game against the Buccaneers proved how good they are and if they can repeat something similar against the 49ers, this game should end with a home win.
