Road to the Final Series
The Phoenix Suns have never become NBA champions and have only managed to reach the final series twice, 1975/76 and 1992/93. Between 2010 and 2020 they only managed to finish better than top ten once in the Western Conference and this season’s performance has been nothing but impressive. The Suns finished second in the Western Conference behind the Jazz and have been one of the best performing sides in the post season matches. They walk into the final series as favorites but will have to make sure to not let go of the high intensity and solid defensive they have proved throughout the season.
Neither have the Milwaukee Bucks had any greater success in the NBA history. Apart from the NBA champions title back in 1974 the Bucks have only reached the NBA Finals once. This season they finished third in the Eastern Conference behind the 76ers and the Nets. They won the Eastern Conference in both 2018/19 and 2019/20 but never got as far as to the final series.
