The Pittsburgh Penguins are on a fantastic run and had no problem holding off the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night. The Penguins haven’t lost a game since the beginning of December and have steadily climbed the table. On Friday night they take on the Buffalo Sabres at PPG Paints Arena and we think that the visitors will run into problems. The Penguins look confident at the moment and show no signs of slowing down. A sixth consecutive win is within reach and the Sabres face a tough challenge if they are to stop the Penguins from adding another two points to their point record.
Penguins are one of the best teams in the league at the moment and look for a sixth straight win when they host Sabres on Friday night. The Sabres will face a tough challenge here and think the Penguins have enough quality to hold of the visitors.

Penguins aim for sixth straight win
The Penguins have picked up 10 points from their last five games and is one of the best teams in the league at the moment. The Canadiens had nothing to put up against Mike Sullivan’s men last time out and the game was put to an end early into the third period. Evan Rodrigues (9+13) had another brilliant night with 1+2 and showed his importance for the Penguins. As did Steven Crosby who got another two assists to his name. The Penguins have plenty of quality in their team and it was only a matter of time before they would find back to winning way from a shaky opening of the season.
If the Penguins are having one of their better runs, the same can't be said about the Sabres and their current form. Looking at the last give game they're are the second worst team in the Eastern Conference with a single win. That win came against the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night, though it was not a win that gave us any reasons to go against the Penguins on Friday. The Sabres were clinical infront of goal against the Jets but when it came to organisation and outplaying their opponent the performance didn't impress.
The Penguins have been impressing in the last couple of weeks and when they are hosting a struggling Sabres side at home ice, we have good reasons to back the Penguins.
