Jimmy Butler has been an absolute force this playoffs so far, and he inspired the Heat to a fantastic Game 1 win over the Celtics on Wednesday, stealing home court and laying down a gauntlet to Jayson Tatum and his Boston side. Whether Tatum can repeat his heroics from the end of the 76ers series and bring his side back in Game 2 remains to be seen, but this is not a Boston side that loses without a fight.

Jaylen Brown has been excellent so far this playoffs for the Celtics, and his matchup against Heat center Bam Adebayo was an interesting battle in Game 1 which will be important for the rest of the series. Both teams’s role players are going to be crucial in deciding who ends up reaching the Finals, and Brown v Adebayo is going to be another important factor.

Whatever happens in Game 2, Game 3 is going to be a huge game when they go back to Miami. If ‘Playoff Jimmy’ can lead his team to a win, chances look good for them to progress. If they drop Game 3, Boston are going to start to gain confidence. It’s going to be a fascinating watch.

Manchester City vs. Chelsea (May 21st)

After Manchester City’s midweek heroics against European champions Real Madrid, destroying them 4-0 and advancing to the Champions League final, you would be forgiven for thinking that they would take a few days off to celebrate perhaps the finest victory in their history as a soccer club. However, you’d be mistaken. Next up it’s a huge match against a struggling Chelsea, with the chance to win the Premier League with a win at the Etihad Stadium this weekend.

After Arsenal’s surprise loss to Brighton last weekend, City only need one win from their next three Premier League games to win the league at the expense of the Gunners, who have faltered considerably in the last few weeks after being 8 points ahead of City only two months ago. City’s relentless pursuit of a historic treble (Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League) looks very much on at this point, and this weekend could see them wrap up the first of three trophies this season. Get ready for a coronation party, with City sure to go all-out attack against Frank Lampard’s Chelsea to get their title with a statement win.
