The Stanley Cup Playoffs where 16 teams compete for a spot in the Stanley Cup final is scheduled to begin on May 2nd. Maple Leafs +1000

Colorado Avalanche and Florida Panthers are favorites to go all the way this season and lift the trophy later in June. The Panthers have showed all season how strong they are and haven’t let of the top position in the Eastern Conference once. We are not surprised that the bookmakers hold them as high as they do, and it would come as a huge surprise if the Panthers doesn’t reach past the first two rounds of the Playoffs at least.
The Avalanche seem to repeat last season’s success when they got honored with the President’s Trophy for the best record in the regular season. Evenly matched with the Panthers this season, they look like one of the potential champions.
